Brent Veurink
Brent Veurink was born and raised in the Platte area. After graduating from USF in 1982, he began his insurance career. Due to the great community support, Brent has the privilege of working in both Platte and Gregory where offices are located. Change has brought new challenges to the insurance industry; however, our focus remains constant. We are humbled and honored to serve you. Regardless of who you are, you are a priority to us. Licensed in life, health, business, farm, home, auto and specialty lines, Brent will work for your trust to protect your livelihood. Brent is married to his wife Pam and they are parents to three grown sons. In his spare time, he enjoys involvement with prison ministry, four-wheeling in the Black Hills and spending time with his family; specifically, two granddaughters.
Guyla Husman
Guyla Husman is a Customer Service Representative/Agent licensed in Property/Casualty Insurance. Guyla grew up on a farm near Colome and has lived in the Gregory area all her life. Guyla began her insurance career with Veurink Insurance Agency, LLC in 2001. She soon became licensed in Property/Casualty insurance. Her business motto is “in the area of customer service, I firmly believe that if you build a trusting relationship with people, you have a loyal customer and friend for a lifetime.’ Her goal is to provide value to every customer she works with. In her spare time, Guyla spends time with her children and grandson.
Tricia Meyerink
Tricia Meyerink is an account manager/agent licensed in Property and Casualty insurance. Tricia grew up in Kimball, SD before attending college at SDSU. Tricia married her high school sweetheart, Kyle, and moved back to Platte in 2005. In 2006 Tricia became licensed in Property/Casualty Insurance and worked as a CSR/agent for 9 years until the needs of her family beckoned her home in 2015.
Veurink Insurance Agency, LLC is pleased to bring Tricia’s 15 years of experience and knowledge into the office. Tricia says “My favorite part of working in the insurance industry is forming trusting relationships with each client and bringing them value with a smile”. In her spare time Tricia enjoys cheering on her three daughters in their numerous activities, volunteering at her church and golfing poorly, but with much enthusiasm.
